Wildlife sighting

These pictures were taken on November 3 outside our house. As Stephen would say, "clee!" Not sure why that is his word for "deer."

The end result

After about 44+ hours of snow, we ended up with around 18", give or take a few inches. Stephen was not too sure what he thought of all the snow when he got bundled up on Sunday. We'll try going out again when he's in a little better mood. :)

The view out our window

We are getting pummeled with snow right now. There's a lot on the ground with more coming down. We're supposed to get around 15"! Definitely makes it feel more like winter than the 50 and 60 degree weather we've been enjoying. Here was the view out our window when I got up.

The view out our window

The other day a train carrying Army tanks went by our house. (The teacher in me has already thought of having Stephen make a bar graph of the different trains that go by when he's older.)

Morning View

This was my view as I was eating breakfast this morning. The beautiful fall colors combined with a full rainbow (you can't see the top in these pictures) that was a double rainbow for a time and snow clouds covering the mountains. Luckily, it has not snowed here yet, but the mountains are getting it right now. Loveland Ski Area is open for business if anyone is up for early season skiing.
