The end result

After about 44+ hours of snow, we ended up with around 18", give or take a few inches. Stephen was not too sure what he thought of all the snow when he got bundled up on Sunday. We'll try going out again when he's in a little better mood. :)

Communicating

I had these high expectations of teaching Stephen all kinds of sign language so he could "talk" to us. So far, I haven't really done much about it. However, he has learned 2 signs: "more" and "help." I've been signing "help" to him when he's needed my help, and he has started doing it on his own now. I hadn't signed "more" for quite awhile, but he was doing it last night when he wanted more chips. Amazing what a little motivation will do for you. :) It is so cute to see him doing the signs and understanding what he needs to say. Maybe I'll try harder at teaching him some more.

Ouch!

Stephen hit his lip on a shelf in our kitchen yesterday. After it stopped bleeding, he ended up with his first fat lip (one of many, I'm sure).

More eating independence

Stephen used a spoon correctly by himself for the first time yesterday. He was eating applesauce and did a pretty good job. He ended up with a bit on his nose, but most of it made it in his mouth. He was pretty proud of himself!

Not sure what that look is for. :)

The view out our window

We are getting pummeled with snow right now. There's a lot on the ground with more coming down. We're supposed to get around 15"! Definitely makes it feel more like winter than the 50 and 60 degree weather we've been enjoying. Here was the view out our window when I got up.

21 weeks

I finally got a belly shot taken. Still feeling good. I've been feeling the baby move a lot more which I enjoy. The kicks are definitely getting stronger. I think he/she might be taking karate lessons. :)
