In the words of Stephen

Stephen is adding new words and phrases daily to his vocabulary. Here's some of his recent additions:
*Hey, babe.
*ummm, let's see
*on
*baby (used to say dada)
*yes
*nope
*ho, ho, ho
*Santa
*Amy (used to say nee-nee)
*Christmas
*Yay! (sometimes said while jumping up and down)
*work

I love hearing everything he has to say! He can be quite a chatterbox sometimes.

Getting big

Paul is becoming pretty proficient at sitting up. He is still a little wobbly but he's getting better.

"Snow" much fun!

We went out to enjoy the 2" of snow we got yesterday. Both boys were pretty cooperative about getting all bundled up. Stephen was excited to go see the "no." Paul's coat and snow pants are too big, but they should fit him all winter. Once outside, Paul loved riding in the sled, and Stephen enjoyed just walking around in the snow. After about 10 minutes, it was time to get my little boys inside. I bribed motivated Stephen with the idea of having hot chocolate. He'd never had it before but he knows chocolate is a good thing. It was a fun little outdoor jaunt.

He really did enjoy the sled ride.

More big trucks

We had our driveway redone in December. It was large gravel. Our friend Chad and his family own a building demolition/moving company. Chad got rid of the gravel and laid down road base. It will stay in place better than the gravel and will get firmer as we drive on it more. Stephen, of course, loved watching the big trucks!

Eating lunch and watching the truck work (it's at the end of the driveway)

They also hauled away some tree stumps and logs from the back yard.

Crafting fun

Stephen and I had fun with a project yesterday. I taped contact paper to his highchair tray and tore construction paper into little pieces. He then put the pieces on the contact paper. When he was done I put another piece of contact paper on and cut it into a Christmas tree shape. He wasn't too sure about having it hung on the window but he likes it there now.

Choo, choo

On November 24, we went to a toy train show. Stephen was in train heaven! He loved seeing all the trains.

This train set was made completely of Legos.
