5 months old

Another month has come and gone. Stephen is growing by leaps and bounds physically and developmentally. His 2 bottom teeth are coming in. He is rolling over. He mostly will just roll over from his back to his tummy and then hang out on his tummy until he gets tired of it. Then he fusses even though he is capable of rolling from his tummy to his back. When I put him on his back, he'll usually roll back to his tummy, and the whole cycle starts again! At least he hasn't figured out that he can use rolling to really get places...yet.
Stephen loves his daddy. He gets a huge smile on his face when he sees Steve. Daddy is also the one who can get Stephen to giggle.
Stephen is talking up a storm. Sometimes he will go on for quite awhile. He loves it when we imitate his noises. He also enjoys spitting. (That was his noise of choice during the Consecration prayer at Mass this morning.)

We are still struggling with getting him to take naps unless he's in the carseat or I am holding him. He sleeps pretty well at night, usually waking up once or twice to eat. He has taken to waking up for the day at 6:30. Hopefully, he will start sleeping in a bit more soon.
Overall, Stephen is a very happy little boy, and we love him very much!
